To Inspire Creative Thinking & Collaboration
Think Tank was created by a group of friends after they played an escape room game for the first time to celebrate a close friends birthday. They immediately fell in love with the concept, the first game they played remained the center of their conversations for weeks, even months. From that point, they knew that they needed to share their experience with the south shore of N.S. And so Think Tank Escape Rooms was born. An Escape Room with games themed around local history, folk lore and legends.
Our purpose is to provide a fun experience that inspires creative thinking and collaboration between individuals. We challenge you to get our there, look at everything around you in new ways and work together in a positive way with those you surround yourself with. So, what are you waiting for? Come join us for an experience that we promise you won’t soon forget!
Animal lover and full-time student, Laura joined Think Tank as our first Game Master. She’s currently studying animal sciences at Dalhousie University and has a passion for volunteering in our local community. When not at school, volunteering or at Think Tank, you’ll find Laura enjoying time with family & friends back on the farm. Laura ensures you have the best possible experience while playing our games. Make sure to give her a high five and tell her how awesome she is!
The glue that holds it all together, Jasmine has filled many roles on our team over the years. From game master, to game tester and creator. Most importantly as Aaron’s better half, she keeps the Mad Scientist himself, in check and makes sure he points his creativity in the right directions. She’s an integral part of the team and what goes on behind the scenes. If she happens to host your team, rest assured that you’ll have an amazing experience at the hands of one of the best.
A mad scientist of sorts, Aaron is the mind behind the creation of our games and the one behind the idea to share escape rooms with the south shore of N.S. He finds inspiration in local stories and loves the challenge of telling them through the creation of puzzles and riddles in our games. When not at Think Tank, you’ll find Aaron in the great outdoors enjoying all that our amazing local area has to offer.

What People Say
Great experience. We did "The Academy" room. Great atmosphere and local flavour. Challenging room that was a bit frustrating to start as it seemed like we had no thread to start with but once we got rolling we had a great time. Escaped with 4 mins left!
Our second visit - and we escaped this time!!! Well thought out concept. Staff are excellent - very supportive and clear directions. A fun hour - regardless of the outcome!! Highly recommend!
We had a large group for a Mom’s night out, and we had an absolute blast! The facility is clean, the staff is professional and fun, and the escape room was challenging! We will definitely be back, and look forward to new rooms over the years! Thank you!

What is an Escape Room?
Our definition: An Escape Room is a great way to spend time together with friends, family and co-workers where you collaborate together to solve a series of puzzles and riddles, to escape against the clock!
Do you have Covid precautions in place?
We have 1 hour scheduled between game, to allow for a very thorough sanitization of all touch points in the room and lobby.
All of our games are private to limit any contact exposure between separate groups/bubbles.
We have masks and gloves available for use during play at no charge.
Is the room actually locked?
How long does the whole experience take?
We provide a 5-10 minute briefing on arrival, followed by 60 minutes of game play and then 5-10minutes at the end for a group picture and optional solution if you did not escape.
